Personally, I felt this experiment was doomed from the start. Once I heard about the possibility of signing Hardaway or Allan Houston, I knew this team was pretty desperate for talent. At least his replacement will be a young prospect with some upside, rather than a broken-down former All-Star. That being said, I appreciate his efforts and you can't blame the guy for trying to make a late comeback. It's a shame it couldn't work out for him.
