The search for Paul Dee's replacement is over. The new AD is Kirby Hocutt, formerly of Ohio and OU. I can't really offer much of an analysis about the hire because it's hard to evaluate athletic directors. From what I've read, he did an impressive job of raising money for the Oklahoma program, so that's good.
This athletic program is in need of some funds. The Momentum Campaign was nice for the University, but very little of that fundraising money is going to athletic program. We need a basketball practice facility, and sadly we need to keep up in the arms race for training equipment. We have more than adequate facilities for football, but if you look at other programs around the country, they have facilities that overshadow some seen in the NFL.

they are in the process of building a basketball practice facility, although it will also be used for other functions, which is fine as long as the basketball teams take priority.
