Vilma's Future in NY in Question?

I thought I had heard something in regards to the possibility of Jonathan Vilma being on his way out of New York, but for the most part I either forgot about it or dismissed it as wishful thinking. But I caught that link on PFT and saw that it might actually happen.

The truth is, he doesn't fit in Mangini's defense. He gets beat up way too much. Hopefully he has a full recovery and if he gets traded, it'll be to a sunny place with a new coach and a team in need of a LB. Cough. Cough.

Vilma would fit nicely in a 4-3 scheme here in Miami, and it would allow the team to let Zach Thomas either retire (probably what is best for his health) or go elsewhere (what is best for his career). Crowder has already shown he isn't an impact player at the MLB position, or any LB position for that matter.
